Divya Unmilan is a quarterly journal of yoga, education and life, published in Odia and founded on the integral spirituality shown by Sri Aurobindo and The Mother.
What we publish
- Renditions in Odia of the writings of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother, reproduced with due acknowledgement to the Sri Aurobindo Ashram Trust, Puducherry.
- Original articles, reflections and translations by contributors whose work is in harmony with that vision.
- News of the ashram and of the readers' community.
What we do not publish
- Advertisements of any kind. The magazine has carried none since its first issue in April 2012 and is sustained entirely by subscribers, donors and well-wishers.
- Sponsored, paid or promotional content presented as editorial.
- Political, sectarian or communal material, or writing that disparages any faith, community or individual.
How contributions are handled
Submissions are read by the editorial committee. We may edit for length, clarity, spelling and house style, and we will tell the author before publishing a substantially altered text. We cannot promise to publish, nor to return unused material, and we do not pay for contributions. Copyright in an original contribution remains with its author; by submitting it the author grants us permission to publish it in the magazine and on this website.
Accuracy and corrections
We take care to quote accurately and to attribute properly. If you find an error — in a translation, a citation, a name or a date — please write to us. Corrections are made promptly on this website and noted in the next printed edition where the error was material.
Independence
The magazine is published, printed and owned by Adv. Tribeni Giri and edited by Madhusudan Mohapatra. Editorial decisions rest with the editorial committee and are not influenced by donors.
